In the role of Lecturer in Hospitality & Catering you'll predominantly be based at Huddersfield Centre, Waterfront and your focus will be on delivering interesting & engaging Culinary Skills Lessons, whether in one of our well-equipped training kitchens delivering practical lessons or in the classroom delivering theory to our learners.

Your key responsibilities will be to deliver Engaging, Fun & interesting sessions while assessing outcomes and delivering feedback to the learners in a professional manner in line with the awarding body's criteria and expectations, you will also monitor attendance amongst other responsibilities outlined in the full job description.

Ideally, you'll have a Level 3 or equivalent in a Professional Cookery Standard (or be able to prove equivalent ability) and demonstrable experience in Professional Cookery and the catering industry in general, experience in Pastry & Confectionary would be an advantage as would an Internal Verifiers Qualification. It's important that you're able to effectively communicate and engage with young people and demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
