Location: Belfast
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm
Salary: £14.06 per hour
Contract: Temporary 3 months with possibility of extension
MPA Recruitment is working in partnership with our public sector client to recruit a Hospital Specialty Training Executive Officer.
This is a key administrative and coordination role supporting postgraduate medical training across hospital specialties. You will work closely with the Hospital Specialty Training Manager and Coordinator, helping to deliver recruitment, placement allocation, trainee assessment processes and ongoing training support for junior doctors across Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate specialty recruitment processes in line with national guidance, including vacancy management, shortlisting and interview arrangements
- Liaise with Lead Educators, panel members and stakeholders to ensure compliant and efficient recruitment activity
- Administer allocation of trainee placements in line with policy and service level agreements
- Support the Annual Review of Competency Progression (ARCP) process, including scheduling, documentation collation and liaison with Royal Colleges
- Assist with trainee revalidation processes by ensuring accurate and timely information is available
- Service Specialty School Boards and Training Committees, including agendas, minutes, action logs and follow-up actions
- Coordinate specialty induction programmes, courses and teaching events
- Maintain attendance records and training databases to support ARCP and curriculum requirements
- Maintain and update information systems, including ePortfolio platforms
- Respond to a wide range of internal and external enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the company and partner organisations
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the Hospital Specialty Training team
- Proven experience in an administrative or executive support role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence working with IT systems and databases
- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamExperience within healthcare, education or the public sector is desirable
