Your responsibilities as Horizontal Borer

• Programme and operate machines producing components up to 15 tonnes
• Interpret detailed engineering drawings to deliver precise results
• Work on complex, high-specification engineering projects
• Carry out quality checks to maintain exacting standards
• Ensure all work meets strict safety and compliance requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

What we're looking for in a Horizontal Borer

• Proven experience operating horizontal boring machines
• Strong programming capability, ideally with Fanuc controls
• Experience using live spindle tooling
• Background working on large, complex components (e.g. oil & gas)
• Experience machining materials such as Inconel, Duplex, and carbon steels
