Homeless Support Worker (South Ribble)

Pay is negotiated from Real Living Wage upwards dependent on relevant experience.

Overview

Excel Housing Solutions is launching a new venture to provide quality accommodation and support solutions for vulnerable adults in the South Ribble area of Northwest England. This part time role requires 15 hours per week, to be worked over three days between 9 am and 7 pm, Monday to Sunday. Experience is not required, and we encourage applications from individuals with lived experience and from minority groups.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with unmet needs such as drug and alcohol issues and offending backgrounds. Work closely with the South Ribble Housing Options Team, adopting a trauma informed and psychologically informed approach to support clients. Help minimise the risk of evictions and use restorative approaches to address conflicts between clients and neighbours.

Eligibility

All applicants must be aged 18 years or older. A right to work in the UK is required.
