About the Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to take full operational and commercial responsibility for Campsie View Care Home, a thriving 90-bed nursing and dementia service located in the peaceful town of Kirkintilloch, with stunning views of the nearby Campsie Hills.

Our current Home Manager has done an excellent job leading the home and is progressing within the organisation to take on another service - a clear example of the career growth and leadership opportunities available.

With strong compliance ratings, low agency usage, and stable occupancy at 88%, Campsie View is already performing well. We are looking for a proven Home Manager to build on this success, inspire the team, and continue strengthening the home's reputation as a trusted choice for residents and families across the region.

Why This Role Matters

Campsie View provides specialist nursing, dementia and respite care for the elderly. With a strong clinical Deputy Manager in post, we don't necessarily need a nurse-qualified leader - but we do need an experienced Home Manager who has successfully led a team, delivered results, and lives by our company values of Trust, Respect, Passion, Kindness, and Inclusivity.

This is your chance to join Alor Healthcare, a supportive organisation that recognises and rewards excellent leadership and provides clear pathways for career progression.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Taking full operational responsibility for a 90-bed service, ensuring high standards of care and compliance.
  • Leading, motivating, and developing the care and nursing teams to deliver outstanding outcomes.
  • Working closely with the Deputy Manager and wider clinical team to maintain excellence in care.
  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, local authorities and healthcare professionals.
  • Driving occupancy and ensuring the home's reputation remains one of the strongest in the area.
  • Embedding our values and creating a culture of trust, respect, and kindness.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience as a Registered Home Manager within nursing or dementia care.
  • A proven track record of achieving strong compliance outcomes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets and occupancy effectively.
  • A values-driven approach and passion for delivering the highest quality of care.
  • Nurse qualification is welcome but not essential thanks to a strong clinical Deputy Manager.

Current Performance Snapshot

  • Occupancy: 88%
  • Agency Usage: Very low (Usage, sometime, within care staff)
  • Regulatory Ratings (July '23):
