Here at UPP we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Home at Halls Representative to join our Nottingham team.

Applicants must be current Nottingham Trent University students (second year or above) who are living or have previously lived in the University Halls of Residence and be available to attend a compulsory training session (date to be confirmed).

Responsibilities
  • Attend and participate in training, staff meetings, and other meetings relevant to the role.
  • Assist with event administration, including inputting attendance data and responding to student queries.
  • Contribute to the social media marketing of events and activities.
  • Provide event ideas during planning and assist with organisation.
  • Lead a minimum of one event per week, handling set up, registration, activity leading and query response.
  • Ensure events are conducted safely in accordance with health and safety policies.
  • Actively promote upcoming events to attendees.
  • Gather feedback and assess events from attendees.
  • Attend relevant training provided by UPP and its partners.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for students, answering questions and informing staff about halls issues.
  • Be flexible to work additional hours on notice, including evenings and some weekend work.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience running or working at events.
  • Passion for teamwork and delivering outstanding student experiences.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when needed.
  • Available to attend compulsory training sessions.
