Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrator to support our award-winning care home. The role involves collaborating with the Home Manager and multi disciplinary teams to ensure the smooth, efficient running of the home in all administrative aspects.

Hours: 18 Hours per week - over 2.5 days.

Responsibilities
  • Execute day to day administrative duties to support the Home Manager and staff teams.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date human resources records.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate on supportive and open communication, and develop value based, people centric marketing initiatives.
  • Enhance personal and colleague training initiatives, fostering continuous professional and personal development.
  • Contribute to the overall personalise care excellence and community spirit of the home.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Committed, patient, caring with a sense of humour and a positive outlook on life.
  • Highly initiative taking with a purpose to provide the best service.
  • Respect and care for residents as individuals, ensuring choices and dignity are upheld.
  • Excellent numeracy and numerical skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Confidentiality and professional honesty and integrity.
  • Collaborative spirit with ability to coordinate own responsibility areas.
  • Interest in working within a care environment, including with vulnerable adults and those with dementia.
  • Willingness to participate in training or development offered.
  • Understanding and compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures.
