Akari Care is seeking a Home Administrator who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of older adults. The role is based in one of our award-winning homes in Gateshead and requires an experienced administrator to work 18 hours per week over 2.5 days. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the home in all administrative aspects. The role involves working closely with the Home Manager and the wider team to support the company's objectives and provide high-quality care to residents.
Main duties of the job(18 Hours Per Week - Over 2.5 days Tues 12.30 4.30pm, Wed 9 4.30pm and Friday 9 4.30pm) Working in collaboration and synchronisation with the Home Manager and the wider multi disciplined teams you will be accountable for ensuring that the home runs smoothly and efficiently in all administrative matters, supporting the Home Manager in achieving the company's aims and objectives, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards, and fostering a culture of continuous professional development among staff.

Job responsibilitiesYou will participate in tasks that promote supportive communication and create value based initiatives. You will ensure accurate and up to date Human Resource duties are met and will adhere strictly to Health and Safety tasks within the home.
