Holiday Cottage Cleaner 12.75 per hour
Posted 3 hours 40 minutes ago by National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty
We're looking for a Holiday Cottage Cleaner to prepare our popular holiday cottages around the Felbrigg Estate.
As a Holiday Cottage Cleaner your role could not be more important in ensuring our guests are provided with the perfect stay from the moment they arrive.
You'll work 6 hours per week, but with regular overtime available. With all year round work, the regular changeover days do not always fall on the same days, so some flexibility for working days, including Saturdays, will be required. However, rotas are issued in advance and we try to accommodate other commitments where possible.
You'll be cleaning and preparing to a high standard at the holiday cottages located within a short distance of Felbrigg Hall. Please see the National Trust holidays website for more specific information about the cottages. There is also a possibility of work at other cottages we manage in surrounding areas on a cover basis if you are interested. Because the cottages are in rural areas, please think about how you'd be able to get here for work before you apply for this job.
What you'll be doingIt's the details that make you a brilliant cleaner. On changeover days, you'll prepare the holiday cottages in readiness for guests to arrive, ensuring that you clean throughout to the highest standard, including making up all beds. You'll also keep an eye out for any repairs or odd jobs that need doing and report these in time for them to be fixed prior to guest arrival.
Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided for all teams, and extra measures are in place to protect staff.
You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached. You don't need to have all the knowledge, skills and experience listed in the role profile; this is just to provide a full picture of what's possible in this role.
