HMP Locum GP

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified General Practitioner (GP) with prison clearance for a locum position in a prison setting in South West London. Previous GP experience working in prisons is an advantage. Prison clearance is a mandatory requirement.

Qualifications

Must have prison clearance. Previous GP experience working in prisons is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct primary care and reception clinics, attending to approximately 12 patients per clinic.
• Provide clinical support to the Special Education Group (SEG) unit.
• Manage cases related to substance misuse and addiction.

Additional Information

This is an ongoing locum GP opportunity with potential to transition into a permanent role, if desired. Many of our current locum GPs have maintained placements for over a year.
