Role Type: Part Time & Full Time Positions Available

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

£120 - £140 per day

About the Role

We are seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a dynamic and inclusive school in North Liverpool. This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning, while helping pupils achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher
• Support teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and assessment
• Lead targeted intervention groups to support pupil progress
• Provide tailored support for pupils with additional or special educational needs
• Monitor and track pupil achievement, providing feedback to teaching staff
• Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals where required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• HLTA status or equivalent experience
• Previous experience working within a school setting
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum
• Confidence in managing a classroom independently
• Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
• A proactive, adaptable, and supportive approach
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
