Job Description

Do you enjoy working across early years and KS1, supporting both learning and development?

We are recruiting a full-time HLTA to support across EYFS and KS1 in a Gateshead primary school. This is an ideal opportunity within Teaching Assistant jobs in Gateshead for someone experienced and ready for more responsibility.

About the role:

You'll support teaching and learning across Reception and KS1, delivering sessions and leading small groups.

Your day-to-day will include:
  • Delivering phonics and early learning sessions
  • Supporting play-based learning in EYFS
  • Covering classes when required
  • Leading interventions for pupils needing extra support
  • Supporting classroom routines and transitions
What we're looking for:
  • HLTA status or strong TA experience
  • Confidence working across EYFS and KS1
  • A nurturing and engaging approach
  • Strong communication skills

Benefits:
