History/English Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and resilient Qualified Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Tower Hamlets.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with young people who require additional support to re-engage with education.

• Deliver 6-7 History lessons per week (KS3/KS4).

• Provide ad hoc English cover as required.

• Plan, prepare and assess in line with curriculum expectations.

• Support students with diverse social, emotional and behavioural needs.

• Implement and manage Exam Access Arrangements, ensuring compliance with JCQ regulations.

• Work collaboratively with pastoral and SEN teams.

• Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

• Has experience working in a PRU, alternative provision or with vulnerable learners.

• Demonstrates knowledge and experience of Exam Access Arrangements.

• Is adaptable, calm and committed to inclusive practice.

• Has strong behaviour management skills.
