HIL Testing Engineer

Location: Lancashire, UK

The candidate should have 5 to 7 years of experience in HIL testing using Vector TAE tool suite

Candidate must possess proven skills in:

•Strong experience in Hardware-in-loop (HIL) Testing using Vector TAE Tools suite

•Expertise in CAN based Vector tools such as CANoe, CANalyze, etc.

•Expertise in CAN, LIN Communication Protocol and Diagnostics Protocols such as KWP2000, UDS, GMW3110, GMW14241 and J1939.

•Good knowledge on writing CAPL Test scripts (CAN Access programming Language).

•Experience in automotive domain testing

•Experience in Manual Testing, Black Box Testing, Functional Testing and Regression Testing.

•Good experience on flashing/ diagnostic tools such as ASL Tool, Serial Loader, CAN flash and DPS Tool.

•Knowledge on usage of debugger tools such as JTAG and Trace32 Emulators.

•Experience in Analysis of Software Requirement Specifications and Developed Test Cases based on the Specification and executing them.

•Review of the Test Cases and Test Execution.

Good to have:

•In depth knowledge of Automotive Engines and Engine Electronics

•Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong technical background in software products documentation is required.

•Ability to rapidly absorb technical information

•Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
