Highways Heavy Plant/HGV Operative (Hexham)

Job Introduction

Role of the job

You will be required to drive various HGV vehicles to assist with the delivery of Highways Schemes within the Hexham Area. As part of your role, you will be expected on occasions to assist with civil ground works and, as part of the team, assist with tasks such as paving, drainage and tarmac repairs.

Requirements of the job

• An HGV licence is an essential part of the role and the ability to work unsupervised between sites.
• Knowledge of the legislation and regulations relating to driving.
