Job Description

Salary: £32,061 to £36,363 term time plus one week (pro rata salary)

Location: Dalton St Michael's Church Of England Primary School, Higher Lane, Dalton, Wigan, WN8 7RP (64 on roll)

Hours of work: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (until 5 pm on staff meeting days, usually Thursday). The role is available from 1 November 2026 to 31 August 2027 due to funding.

About the role

Full time HLTA to support the Infant class teacher for students from Reception to Year 2. The role includes covering PPA during some afternoon sessions, planning and implementing continuous provision, and facilitating effective teaching and assessment.
