Higher Level Teaching Assistant

£12,279 - £12,481 per year (Grade 5B term time pro rata)

Job location: Cherry Burton C of E Primary School, Main Street, Cherry Burton, HU17 7RF

Working hours: 18 hours per week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

We are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

• be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• be able to embrace the inclusive nature of our learning environment and demonstrate a positive approach to work.
• be committed to the school's nurturing ethos and approach to supporting all pupils.
• to advance pupils' learning in a range of classroom settings, including working with individual pupils or groups and whole classes where the assigned teacher is not present, e.g. PPA time or covering short term absence. Activities involve planning, preparing and delivering learning lessons as well as monitoring pupils, assessing, recording and reporting on pupils' achievement, progress and development, under the direction of the class/subject teacher.
