Derby College Group is seeking a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide dedicated support for our students at our Roundhouse campus who are currently studying on our Routes Provision.
The OpportunityThis opportunity offers a rewarding role in supporting the delivery of high quality teaching and learning for our Routes Provision. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will work closely and collaboratively with teaching staff to strengthen student progress, enhance engagement, and build confidence in curriculum content. By fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, the role plays a key part in helping students achieve their full potential and in driving excellence across the College's teaching and learning provision.

About YouYou'll have a solid understanding of how to support learning and personal development, with experience working with post-16 students. A team player with strategies to engage learners who may be disengaged, you'll bring excellent communication skills and a proactive approach. A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) is essential, and ideally, you'll hold HLTA status.
