Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 1 and 2 General Haulage Driver to join our team in North Scarle, Lincoln. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in compliance with all road traffic regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to various destinations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Hourly Rate: Days Starting basic wage of £15 p/h; Nights - Starting Basic wage of £16 p/h; Weekend Days - £18.75 p/h; Weekend Nights - £20 p/h

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 06:00 Start 10 - 12 hour runs Optional weekends available

Experience & Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) driving license.
• Any experience in general haulage.
• Strong understanding of road traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record. (Maximum 9 penalty points)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
