Job Description
Overview

Salary: £45,015 per annum plus Veolia benefits and pension, £0.50p/h HGV licence bonus. Overtime available as required, including weekends and bank holidays (1.25 rate); Sundays and bank holidays: 2 rate. Working hours: 40 hours per week, Mon Fri. Company breakdown van provided.

Mona Industrial Estate, Holyhead LL65 4RJ.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day to day workload independently.
  • Carry out scheduled body maintenance/servicing, repairs and breakdowns.
  • Manage external maintenance providers and support the commercial depot with compliance and service schedules.
  • Run diagnostics on vehicles (knowledge of TeXas equipment desirable, training provided).
  • Perform hydraulic, electrics, pneumatics, engine and after treatment diagnostics and repairs.
  • Work within Health & Safety regulations and be responsible for own safety and that of others.
  • Complete roadside repairs when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working on waste disposal vehicles (desirable).
  • Current HGV driving licence (desirable).
  • Experience diagnosing complex electrical/hydraulic faults.
  • Own tools.
  • Current IRTEC licence (desirable).
  • Level 3 in HGV maintenance and repair or equivalent apprenticeship and time served.
