Experienced HGV/TRAILER TECHNICIAN needed.

The successful applicant will be working in a modern fully equipped heated workshop on a Modern fleet of 50 vehicles and 85 trailers, Primarily Volvo's and SDC Trailers, with Haldex EBS system.

This position is for an experienced fully qualified HGV Technician (or an experienced Mechanic with an IRTEC qualification will also be considered), daily responsibilities will include making sure all work is carried out to a high standard and within the industry set standard times.

This is a full-time permanent position on a 4on/4off Shift pattern working 12 hour days, overtime is readily available if the successful candidate would wish so.

Job Spec: HGV Technician

Six weekly vehicle inspections.
12 weekly trailer inspections.
General servicing and pre-planned maintenance.
MOT preparation / Presentation (Must maintain our high pass rate)
General defect repairs.
Fault finding and Diagnosing of equipment.
All Working to DVSA standards

Person Spec:

Have a recognized motor vehicles apprenticeship (or equivalent).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Have extensive HGV mechanical engineering experience.
Have a clean LGV licence C + E would be an advantage although not essential.
