HGV Supervisor

Location: Biggleswade

Salary: £50,000 Basic

Shift: Day Shift

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HGV Supervisor (On the Tools) to join our team in Biggleswade. This is a working supervisory role, ideal for a time-served HGV Technician or Level 3 qualified professional who is ready to take the next step in their career while remaining actively involved in workshop operations.

• Supervise and support a team of HGV Technicians on a day-to-day basis
• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs to DVSA standards
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards
• Assist with job allocation, workshop planning, and workflow management
• Support training and development of junior technicians
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate job records and documentation

• Time served HGV Technician or Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Proven experience working on HGVs in a workshop environment
• Previous supervisory or team-leading experience desirable
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous)
