HGV Mechanic/Technician - UK Applicants only

We are currently looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic that can also assist with light commercials to join our team in Offham near West Malling. We are a family run business offering long term commercial vehicle and plant hire. With a fleet of around 500 vehicles ranging from light commercial vehicles up to 32T lorries, we are currently recruiting for an HGV Mechanic with light commercial experience to assist with the maintenance of our fleet.

Responsibilities:

Carrying out routine servicing, inspections and other maintenance checks
Pre MOT checks
Carrying out diagnostics and undertaking repairs
Completing documentation and internal job cards
Attending breakdowns
Work efficiently to minimize vehicle downtime
Collaborate with a skilled and professional team

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3
Own Tools
Full driving license (HGV License - Preferred but not essential)
Experience with plant and light commercial vehicles would be advantageous

Working hours are 7am - 5pm weekdays and alternate Saturdays from 7am - 12pm.

21 days holiday plus bank holidays. We offer free on-site parking, a company pension scheme and offer a company vehicle once the probation period has passed.

Salary range between £58,000 - £60,000 per year dependent on experience.
