Job Description
Here at JC Balls we are currently seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team.
As our HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of modern tipper lorries, low-loaders, volumetric concrete mixers and sweepers.
Your duties will include diagnosing faults, carrying out all scheduled inspections and providing servicing to ensure that all equipment is kept to a high standard.
You will be based in our workshop at Ambergate, but will also be required to perform some mobile on-site repairs.
You must be able to work independently as well as in a team, and good rates of pay and overtime are available, including some Saturday mornings.
Qualifications
Relevant experience as an HGV Mechanic or in a similar role
Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics
Proficiency in repairing and maintaining heavy goods vehicles
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the automotive industry
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant certifications in vehicle maintenance or mechanics
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £17.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
