Job Title: HGV Mechanic / Technician (Full-Time + Overtime Available)
Location: Wraysbury TW19
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic / Technician to join our busy and growing workshop team. This is a full-time, permanent position with consistent overtime available for those looking to maximise earnings.
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy goods vehicles and trailers, ensuring they are safe, compliant, and roadworthy at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs
Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment
Conduct MOT preparation and inspections
Complete all paperwork and job records accurately
Ensure all work meets DVSA standards
Respond to breakdowns when required (overtime rates apply)
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
Overtime available on evenings and weekends
Salary & Benefits
£42,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)
Overtime
28 days holiday (including bank holidays)

Requirements
Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic / Technician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Full UK driving licence (Class 1 or 2 desirable)
Good work ethic and ability to work independently
