Job Description
We're currently seeking an experienced and motivated HGV mechanic to join our business.
This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established business that values your expertise and hard work.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspecting, servicing and repairing HGVs and trailers to DVSA standards.
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostics equipment on a variety of vehicles and machinery.
Performing routine maintenance, MOT prep and safety inspections.
Keeping accurate service records and job sheets.
Ensuring health and safety procedures are always followed.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience as an HGV technician/mechanic.
NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
Class 1 or 2 HGV licence (preferred but not essential)
Knowledge of DVSA standards and MOT requirements
A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
