Job Description
Clearway Drainage Systems are a premier drainage solution specialist company who thrive in maintaining an excellent record of high-quality service provision to our Clients throughout the UK on a 365/24/7 basis. We pride ourselves in maintaining longstanding relationships with some of the best-known businesses across the UK, due to this we have been awarded new long-term contracts. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Mechanic / Fitter to join our busy expanding team at our Head Office Garage in Leigh.
The role will primarily involve supporting the maintenance of our own fleet of vehicles, consisting of vans, trailers and occasional small tools. You must be looking for a varied role with flexible hours. We offer a competitive salary dependent upon existing skills and experience with the opportunity for overtime at time and a half, weekend availability and we operate a paid "on call" rota system. All offers of employment are subject to driving licence checks, drug / alcohol testing and DBS checks. A company vehicle will be supplied, and we offer 28 days holiday entitlement (including bank holidays) rising to 33 days following 3 years continuous service.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Recognised time served apprenticeship in mechanics preferably with experience of plant
Achieved either an HNC, City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2
Driving licence, preferably Class 2 with no more than 3 points
Essential Responsibilities:
Ability to follow appropriate policies, procedures and complete necessary documentation
Comply with integrity and compliance guidelines as well as promoting a safe working environment and ensuring compliance
Installation and preventative/ corrective maintenance on all vehicles
Evaluate issues and implement appropriate repairs as part of a team
Experience of repairs and maintenance of a working fleet
Able to work in a clean and safe environment
Able to work on a first-time repair basis

Pay: From £19.00 per hour
