Job Description

Safely operate HGVs to transport goods across Ireland and internationally as required.

Ensure timely deliveries while following designated routes and schedules.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring roadworthiness.

Load and unload cargo as needed, following proper handling procedures.

Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any incidents or delays.

Comply with all road safety regulations, company policies, and transport laws.

Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients to ensure smooth operations.

Job Context

We are looking for experienced and responsible HGV drivers to join our logistics team. The role involves long-distance and local transportation of goods, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while maintaining high standards of professionalism.

Educational Requirements

Valid HGV License (Category C or C+E)

CPC Certification (Certificate of Professional Competence)

Tachograph Card required

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HGV driver

Proven track record of safe and efficient driving

Experience with manual and automatic HGVs is a plus

Additional Requirements

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required

Strong communication and time-management skills

Physically fit to handle occasional heavy lifting
