HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting aggregates & asphalt materials safely and efficiently to designated locations Out of local Mendip Quarries, predominantly working out of the same quarry.

Responsibilities

- Drive lorries to transport goods over short or long distances

- Load and unload cargo

- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns

- Communicate with dispatchers and team members

- Follow traffic laws and regulations

- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the lorry

Qualifications

- HGV Driving License

- Up to date CPC Card

- MP Connect card (if expired training can be booked provided you have previous tipper experience)

- Good Geographical Knowledge of Southwest England

- Previous experience in commercial driving roles

- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

- Proficiency in driving a tipper truck

- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance is desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £150.00 per day
