Job Description
L.A. Drinks Co Ltd are now recruiting a full time Driver to join their team.
Role
The key purpose of this role is to deliver beers, wines and spirits throughout Northern Ireland to a range of customers in the license trade .
Based at
LA Drinks Co Ltd, 3 Silverwood Ind. Area, Lurgan, Co Armagh
Hours of Work
40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, required to work overtime at month end stocktake
Responsibilities
To drive up to a 26 tonne rigid category C lorry in accordance with current Road Traffic Law
To comply with all drivers hours and tachograph legislation
To deliver beers, wines and spirits to all types of licensed premises in Northern Ireland
To complete all required documentation
To ensure that the lorry is road worthy and report any faults immediately to your line manager
assist with loading the lorry
To ensure that the lorry is loaded and unloaded in a safe manner
To ensure that all Company security procedures relating to the lorry, the load, the helper and yourself are adhered to
Any general driving and warehouse duties
Reports to : Warehouse Manager
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications
Must hold a HGV class 2 driving license
Demonstrating good literacy and numeric skills
Forklift licence preferred
Skills and Experience
Good customer service skill, with the ability to deal with customer in a polite and courteous manner
Previous experience within a drinks warehouse environment - desirable
A good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland
