Working Hours

5 days out of 7 (some weekends required). Starts at 03:00am and 07:00am.

Pay Rates (Class 2)

• Days: £15.11 (Holiday Accrued)
• Days - Rolled up: £16.93
• Nights: £16.93 (Holiday Accrued)
• Nights - Rolled up: £18.11

Approx £803.00 weekly ( £41,756 per annum) for days and approx £899.25 weekly ( £46,761 per annum) for nights.

Duties

• Adhere to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Secure loads on the trailer to minimise damage.
• Provide excellent customer service and take ownership of delivery issues.
• Carry out multi drop deliveries within the delivery window safely.
• Report vehicle defects to the Transport Office as necessary.
• Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills.
• Be a reliable time keeper and work unsupervised.
• Maintain an enthusiastic attitude towards customer service.
• Have good communication skills and a flexible can do attitude.

Requirements

• HGV Class 2 licence - taking on new passes.
• Digi Tacho & CPC cards.
• Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements.
• Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Driver's Hours).
• Good national geographical awareness.
• Excellent customer facing awareness skills.
• Good timekeeping and able to work unsupervised.
• Enthusiastic and reliable - commitment to delivering first class customer service.
• Good communication skills and a flexible can do attitude.
