We're currently looking to recruit Class 1 Tramper Drivers for one of our long-standing clients. This is an ongoing opportunity for experienced tramper drivers who are happy to be flexible, reliable, and get the job done. If you're a tramper driver looking for consistent work and decent rest stops, this one's for you!
Pay:
£17.50 per hour (including holiday pay)
£27.50 per night out
£1 per shift insurance contribution applies
HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers Wanted - Flexible, Ongoing Work
We're looking for professional and dependable tramper drivers who are happy to run in early, work around varied start times, and be away from home throughout the week.
What you'll be doing:
Starting from various West Yorkshire locations
Tramping across the UK with varied deliveries and routes
Start times can be as early as 03:00am
Average 3 nights out per week - potential for up to 5
Running in on Saturdays when required ( paid hours only )
Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately and vehicles are checked daily
Representing the client in a professional manner at delivery points
What We're looking for:
UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Flexible approach to start times and nights out
Able to work independently and meet delivery deadlines
Good communicator and committed to high driving standards
Minimum 2 years with an HGV licence AND at least 6 months' HGV driving experience (for insurance purposes)
No more than 6 penalty points
