HGV Class 1 Driver

Job Description:

Arrow Direct has steadily grown to offer the highest Transport and Logistics services throughout the UK and from its offices in Leicester.

As a result we are looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver to assist with our General Haulage operation carrying Building materials throughout the UK.

As a HGV driver you must hold a clean HGV Class 1 (C+E Licence) and a valid driver CPC card. Enjoy working with people and understand the importance of health and safety within an organisation. If you think this is you and you want to know more, then please apply today.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining security of load when loading, transporting and delivering goods.
• Carry out daily checks on vehicle and ancillary equipment.
• Comply with legislation regarding vehicle safety, tachograph operation and working time regulations.
• Relay appropriate customer queries to depot staff as required.
• Act as an ambassador for the company, providing a high standard of customer care.
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork.
