What We Offer
A permanent, full-time position (42.5 hours/week)
Monday to Friday schedule - flexibility on start/finish times
Overtime paid (after 42.5 hours)
No long-haul tramping - only occasional night outs with tax free subsistence allowance
Starting pay: £16.29/hr (£36,000 annually), rising to £16 79/hr (£37,106 annually) after training
Full training provided - including Moffett forklift and Bobcat skid steer operation
Pension, paid holidays (4 weeks + 8 bank holidays), uniform, free tea/coffee
Your Role
You will:
Deliver animal bedding (both palletised and bulk)
Collect bulk trailers from Sawmills
Operate a Moffett forklift to load/unload your vehicle (training provided)
Learn to assist in poultry farm deliveries, including spreading sawdust/shavings using a Bobcat
Adhere to all road, safety, and company regulations
Maintain accurate records and follow ISO 9001 procedures
Represent our company in a professional and courteous manner
Your Schedule
42.5 hours/week (e.g., 6am-3:30pm, 7am-4:30pm, or 8am-5:30pm)
Overtime and occasional Saturday work on a rota (approx. every 6 weeks)
Occasional night outs may be required during busy periods
About You
Full, clean HGV Class 1 licence
Minimum 1 year's experience driving HGV Class 1
Up-to-date CPC
Moffett Forklift certificate is a plus - training will be provided if needed
Physically fit and comfortable with occasional manual handling
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Comfortable working in dusty environments (RPE/PPE provided)
Excellent customer-facing communication skills
A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to learn new skills
