Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Plant Driver to support a well-established client in East Lothian on an ad hoc basis. If you're looking for flexible work with competitive pay and a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role- Delivering and collecting plant machinery and equipment across East Lothian and surrounding areas
- Loading, securing and unloading plant equipment safely and efficiently
- Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring all paperwork is accurate
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Providing excellent customer service at customer sites
- Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience transporting plant machinery (essential)
- Experience loading and securing plant equipment
- Good understanding of load restraint regulations
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, CD or IN endorsements)
