Job Description
Overview
We are seeking experienced and reliable HGV class 1 drivers to join our team. With a variety of work available, we are happy to work with you and accommodate your preferences, whether you're a night container driver or a day multi-drop driver, or anything in between.
Duties
The safe and timely delivery of a variety of goods.
Daily vehicle walk around checks.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delays or other potential issues.
Adhere to all traffic laws, EU and WTD regulations.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Pay - £16-£20 PAYE or £16-£22 Ltd
Qualifications/ Experience
Must have HGV Class 1 licence for a minimum of 18 months.
No more than 6 points, no DD/DR Code convictions.
Valid DCPC and Digital Tacograph Card.
Hold good geographical knowledge.
Have a good understanding of the English language.
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
