Senior Fixed Income Trader / Portfolio Manager - Basis Trading Strategy

Client: Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund

On behalf of a top-tier multi-strategy hedge fund, we are seeking an experienced Fixed Income Trader or PM to lead a basis trading strategy with a focus on US fixed income markets.

This is a high-conviction role for a proven performer with deep market knowledge and a strong track record in generating alpha through basis trades and relative value strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage a fixed income basis trading strategy with a strong macro and relative value lens
• Deploy capital efficiently while operating within agreed risk parameters
• Collaborate with risk and execution teams to optimise performance
• Contribute to a performance-driven and intellectually rigorous investment environment

Candidate Requirements

• At least 10 years' experience trading or managing fixed income strategies, with a focus on basis trades and US markets
• Consistent and verifiable performance across market cycles
• A well-defined trading edge and clear investment thesis
• Able to operate autonomously while fitting into a collaborative platform
