Hedge Fund Analyst

Overview

Multi-hundred million dollar hedge fund with operations in NYC and Miami is seeking a junior investment analyst to build financial models and perform company due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Build highly granular 3-statement financial models utilizing annual and quarterly filings, earnings reports, investor presentations, industry reports, and other publicly available material.
• Conduct due diligence including meeting/speaking with industry executives and experts and attending industry and investor conferences.
• Receive significant training and support from seasoned investment professionals.

Qualifications

• High level of proficiency (speed and accuracy) with Excel is required.
• Background in finance or accounting is preferred.
• Knowledge of coding and data science is preferred but not required.
• Very strong work ethic with 6-days per week of long hours expected.

Compensation

$100-$125k base salary, bonus, and benefits.
