Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Semi skilled Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in the repair and maintenance of different types of vehicles.
Grant Palmer is Bedfordshire's family-owned bus company since 1999. We provide a mixture of public bus services, corporate contract work and school transport. Duties
Diagnose, repair, and maintain buses to above DVSA standards
Perform routine servicing and safety checks
Identify and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards
Experience
Proven experience in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance is preferred but not essential
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions is preferrable
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and commitment to safety
