At MCS Healthcare, we are looking for dedicated Health Care Assistants to support a young client living at home with their family in Radstock. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide consistent, person-centred care to an adolescent with a learning disability and epilepsy.
About the roleYou will be supporting a young person who lives in a loving family home and has complex clinical needs, including a tracheostomy, BiPAP therapy, and gastrostomy care. The client requires reassurance, structure, and consistent support, particularly during the night.
Providing attentive clinical care, building trust, offering reassurance, and responding in a calm, safe, and supportive manner is essential to ensure their comfort and wellbeing.
This role is not just about care tasks-it's about building a positive relationship, promoting a sense of safety, and supporting the client to feel comfortable in their own home.

- Supporting with seizures and epilepsy, ensuring safe and effective management
- £17.00 per hour

- At least 1 year of care experience

- Willingness to learn and follow care plans
- Experience in learning disabilities or similar settings (preferred)
- Night shifts: 10:00 pm - 8:00 am Monday to Sunday
