Location: Milton Keynes (Monday- Friday onsite)

Salary: £40,000- £50,000

The role
As Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Health & Safety (H&S) policies and practices for the UK business. You will ensure compliance with all relevant UK legislation, foster a strong culture of safety, and support management in achieving business goals while prioritising employee well-being.
What will you do?
- Develop and implement the UK H&S strategy, aligned with company objectives.
- Advise the UK Managing Director and management team on all H&S matters.
- Ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation (including HSE requirements).
- Carry out and oversee risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
- Monitor working conditions, facilities, and equipment to ensure safe operations.
- Deliver H&S training and awareness sessions.
- Act as the primary contact for HSE inspectors, local authorities, and external consultants.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What do we expect from you?
- Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager in the UK.
- Recognised H&S qualification (eg NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Experience with audits, risk management, and compliance systems.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to lead, coach, and engage colleagues to adopt best practice.
