Our newly expanded recruitment team brings over 20 years of business experience across multiple industries throughout Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
A well established waste and recycling operation is adding a senior Health & Safety Adviser to its in house EHS team. This is a substantive, hands on role for an experienced practitioner who is ready to take ownership of H&S across a multi site portfolio - 22 health and safety regulatory sites and 10 environmental regulatory sites.
The role sits within a flat structure, reporting directly to senior management. The incoming adviser will take meaningful responsibilities from day one, working with a small, experienced team in a sector that is stable, essential, and operationally demanding.
- Risk assessments, method statements, and safety statements across a multi site estate
- Site visits to operational waste and recycling facilities in Dublin, Meath, and North Dublin
- Day to day advisory support to site management and operational teams
- Regulatory compliance management - engaging with enforcement authorities as required
- Contributing to the ongoing development of safety culture across the organisation
- Potential to lead on compliance specialisms (ISO and related frameworks) as the role develops
- Minimum five years' health and safety experience in a comparable heavy industry or operational environment
- Confident in producing risk assessments, method statements, and safety statements independently
- Strong interpersonal skills - able to build trust with site teams, management, and regulators alike
- A generalist profile - practical breadth is valued over narrow specialism
- Comfortable in an active, industrial environment; not looking for a desk based advisory role
- Relevant qualification (NFQ Level 7+ or equivalent in Health & Safety or related discipline)
