Hours
  • Full-time permanent position
  • 1 in 6 full weekends at a 24 hour hospital setting
  • Two weeks of on call cover per year
  • 1-2 Bank Holidays annually
  • Balanced rota supporting clinical and leadership responsibilities
The Role

In this role, you will lead the nursing function while remaining actively involved in patient care. You will oversee day to day clinical standards, mentor and develop nurses, manage workflows and rotas, and help create a positive, high performing team environment.

You will work closely with senior leadership to maintain exceptional patient care, strong operational standards, and an outstanding client experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team
  • Deliver high standards of patient care and monitoring
  • Lead nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures
  • Support surgical and diagnostic procedures
  • Manage admissions and discharges
  • Oversee nurse rotas, workflow and team development
  • Mentor and support student and junior nurses
  • Ensure regulatory and clinical compliance standards are maintained
