Overview

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to lead The Spires School - a small, unique, independent SEMH provision for children aged 6-18 who thrive within a trauma informed, therapeutic environment.

The Spires is registered for 40 pupils, located in the heart of Salisbury. Our young people need safe, consistent adults who can offer calm boundaries, compassion, and unwavering belief in their potential.

The Spires is part of Five Rivers, a network of services that support collaboration among Headteachers and access to fostering, residential, and clinical services - all underpinned by our Investors in People Gold Award.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a strong, values driven leadership team
  • Shape a bespoke, therapeutic curriculum that enables every pupil to flourish
  • Create a culture of belonging, self worth, and high expectations
  • Model a trauma informed, relational approach to behaviour and engagement
  • Champion safeguarding, holistic practice, and child centred decision making

We are seeking an inspiring and resilient leader. You will bring proven experience in school leadership, alongside a commitment to inclusive practice and the belief that every young person deserves to thrive.

You will be part of a collaborative network of Headteachers and benefit from the support of our fostering, residential, and clinical services - all within the Five Rivers group.
