Job Description

We have an open position for an ambitious English-speaking native as the primary teacher in our Children's House. (AMI or ÖMG training).

You would be working in a creative, open-hearted, but precise team of 4 teachers/Assistants (one of them is you) in a 4,000 m2 area on the outskirts of Vienna, near the Wienerwald, a setting that lends itself to outdoor work and outings to the nearby Perchtoldsdorfer Heide. The Montessori Environment is thoroughly prepared. You would cooperate with a professionally trained Montessori Teacher for this age group and two assistants.


Aufgaben
  • Management of the Montessori Children's House with approximately 32 kindergarten-aged children
  • Leadership, supervision, and scheduling of the team (1 teacher, 2-3 assistants) in a Montessori way
  • Parent communication and conducting parent-teacher meetings
  • Planning and documentation
  • Structuring and maintaining the prepared Montessori environment

Profil
  • European Work Permit
  • Living close to the school (maximum 30 minutes away)
  • Experience in working with children
  • Experience in leading a team and a school
  • English is the first language

Wir bieten

Salary: The minimum salary for this position, depending on your experience, starts at € 2532 brutto per month with a full contract, paid 14 times per year as usual in Austria, and comprehensive insurance for you and your family.

Work hours: Monday to Friday, 07:50 to 2.00 o clock (30 hours) with children and 5-paid hours a week for planning and documentation, team meeting without children: arriving at 07:45, team meeting once a week until 16:00, on other days: planning and documentation after class every day except Friday until 15:00.
