Head Of Wholesale P&C

My client, a respected and expanding name in the London Market, is seeking a strategic and driven Head of Property & Casualty to lead and grow their P&C platform.

This is a pivotal opportunity for a senior market professional to shape and develop the business's P&C capabilities across the UK and Europe, working closely with the Deputy Head of, and wider European teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and lead the firm's Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance offering.
• Develop and execute a business plan focused on sustainable P&C growth.
• Cultivate and maintain strong broker relationships across the London and European markets.
• Liaise closely with underwriting panels and insurance carriers to drive market engagement.
• Collaborate with the European teams to support cross-border opportunities and placements.
• Identify new opportunities and emerging risks within the UK and European P&C space.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior brokers or team members as the division expands.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in the London Market with strong broker and insurer relationships.
• Technical expertise in Property & Casualty insurance.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on business development and growth.
• Collaborative team player with a hands-on approach.
• Experience consulting with underwriting panels and supporting strategic insurer partnerships.
• Comfortable in a leadership role and ready to build and manage a book of business.
