This strategic role will oversee the delivery of counselling, disability support, and wellbeing services, ensuring students receive timely, tailored support that enables them to thrive academically and personally. You will manage high-risk cases, coordinate responses to critical incidents, and work closely with internal teams and external agencies to maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
The successful candidate will bring substantial leadership experience, a qualification in counselling or mental health, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by diverse student populations. You will be confident in implementing policies around mental health, disability, and safeguarding, and have a strong grasp of relevant legislation, including the Equality Act 2010. Your ability to lead teams, manage complex cases, and deliver training will be key to championing our inclusive support strategy.
