As we accelerate our strategy across our global portfolio, we are seeking an exceptional senior leader to head our Group Transformation Office. This is a high impact role at the heart of Bupa, providing enterprise-wide leadership of governance, reporting and performance insight across the Group transformation and Strategy KPI portfolio.Reporting to the Group Transformation Office Director, the role holder will work closely with senior stakeholders across Group functions and Market Units to ensure transformation activity is aligned to Bupa's strategic priorities and delivers clear, measurable performance outcomes. The role plays a central part in embedding robust Strategy KPI governance, reporting and performance enhancing insight, particularly for externally published Strategy KPIs.The Head of Transformation plays a pivotal role in shaping Bupa's approach to transformation delivery and execution, while providing critical insight into Market and Business Unit performance. You will make significant contributions to high-stakes materials for senior stakeholders-including Bupa Executives, the Group Board, Association Members and bondholders-bringing together sharp strategic content development with disciplined, high-quality process management. Through close collaboration with adjacent Group functions and Market Units, the role actively elevates the profile, effectiveness and influence of the Transformation Office across Bupa, helping to drive alignment, momentum and impact behind the organisation's most important priorities. How you'll help us make health happen: Lead and operate Strategy KPI governance Create and refine group-level Strategy KPI definitions and guidance, communicating these clearly and consistently across Bupa. Embed Strategy KPI governance as business-as-usual through established Transformation Office processes, with clear ownership, controls and escalation routes. Maintain core governance documentation, including key issues and judgements, dependencies and decision logs, and ensure timely escalation of governance items through agreed forums. Oversee delivery of Transformation Office BAU activity, ensuring continuity, quality and resilience of core processes. Deliver Strategy KPI reporting to monitor strategy progress Lead the production of regular Strategy KPI performance updates, dashboards and written materials for senior management forums, including the Chief Executive's Committee and Group Board. Ensure reporting provides a clear view of progress, risks and delivery confidence, supporting transparency on strategy progress and external stakeholder assurance where required. Continuously improve reporting quality through clear structure, consistency and driver-based performance analysis. Generate performance-enhancing insight for senior decision-making Generate performance-enhancing insight by analysing transformation delivery data, Strategy KPI performance and qualitative inputs to inform decision-making. Identify emerging opportunities, risks and constraints, translating these into clear observations and recommended actions. Support acceleration of strategy delivery by linking transformation activity and KPI performance to tangible outcomes. Provide effective day to day leverage to Group Transformation Office Director and other senior staff Work with Transformation Office Director to enable them to deliver the function's objectives and milestones, e.g., preparation of presentations, medium-term work planning, etc. Prepare concise, high-quality briefings to support senior reviews and decision-making. Help to improve the performance and working of the Transformation Office team, e.g., generating ideas to improve team efficiency, effectiveness and ways of working. Line management and development of the Transformation Office team Lead, develop and support a high-performing Transformation Office team, managing resourcing, prioritisation and workload for 4-5 colleagues while setting clear objectives and providing hands-on coaching, structured upskilling and individual development plans. Ensure the team has the capability and capacity to deliver, building the skills, behaviours and resilience required to produce high-quality governance, reporting and performance-enhancing insight across the Transformation Office. Build strong, ambassadorial relationships across Group functions and Market Units Promote the Transformation Office as a trusted partner for strategy delivery, KPI governance and performance insight, while leveraging personal networks to identify opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing. Skills & Experience required for this role: Significant experience within strategic transformation, finance, planning or corporate Strategy functions is essential for this role. Experience of healthcare or health insurance is advantageous. Strategic transformation knowledge: Demonstrable understanding and experience in applying strategic transformation principles, including strategy execution, KPI reporting, governance, performance analysis and the generation of insight. Demonstrable financial acumen, including strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, financial statements, risks and controls, and the core principles and tools of financial analysis. Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving capability, including the ability to independently scope and analyse complex qualitative and quantitative issues, challenge assumptions, synthesise diverse inputs, and apply sound judgement to generate clear insights, Strategy KPI perspectives, governance proposals, narratives and actionable recommendations. Brings curiosity and commercial focus to decision-making. Data analysis: proven strength in gathering and analysis of datasets (including KPI data and other large / high-volume quantitative datasets), including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other analytics tools (e.g. Thinkcell). Line management, coaching and team development: Proven ability in creating a high performing, collaborative team culture, supporting professional development, and ensuring individuals are equipped to deliver high-quality governance, reporting and insight. Demonstrable ability to build strong, influential and culturally aware relationships across Bupa, working and communicating effectively at all levels of the organisation. Shows empathy for the needs and expectations of senior executives and consistently role-modelling high standards of leadership behaviour. Leads discussions with senior stakeholders with confidence and gravitas, provides clarity, and adapts insights, communication and ways of working to diverse international and cross-cultural contexts.
