Worcester Students' Union is looking for an exceptional Head of Student Engagement to join our Senior Management Team and lead one of the Union's most influential areas.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape how thousands of students engage with university life, from academic representation and democratic processes to student groups, advice services and community building.

About the role

As Head of Student Engagement, you will provide strategic leadership across our student engagement, representation, insight, advice and student activities functions.

You'll lead an experienced team responsible for:

• Student Voice and democratic engagement
• Academic representation
• Help and Advice
• Student Groups, including societies, sports clubs and Networks
• Student insight, research and impact
• Leadership development and engagement opportunities

Working closely with our elected Officers, the Union's Senior Management Team, University colleagues and external partners, you'll ensure students influence decisions that affect their lives while creating opportunities for every student to belong, participate and succeed.

This is a role for someone who enjoys thinking strategically while remaining connected to the day-to-day student experience.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience leading teams within Students' Unions, Higher Education, charities or membership organisations
• Is passionate about student voice, engagement and representation
• Can build strong partnerships and influence senior stakeholders
• Uses insight, evidence and data to improve services and demonstrate impact
• Has experience developing strategy and translating it into meaningful action
• Is an inspiring leader who develops others and creates inclusive, high-performing teams
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same
