Head of Social Work - Working Age & Transitions

St Helens Council is seeking a visionary Head of Social Work - Working Age to provide strategic leadership across adult social work services for working age adults, including people with learning and physical disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury and complex needs.

The role encompasses leadership of the Transition service to ensure smooth, person centred moves from children's to adult social care, and responsibility for the AMHP service to meet statutory duties under the Mental Health Act.
